KARACHI: Popular rapper Talha Anjum is under fire on social media after a video surfaced showing him dragging a fan by the hair during a concert.
In the video, Anjum can be seen on stage pointing towards someone in the crowd. A person is then forcefully dragged toward the stage.
Reports suggest the incident occurred after someone allegedly threw a bottle at the rapper — the same individual who was later pulled up.
He said to the crowd, “There was a brother here who threw a bottle on stage as if he was sending me his sister’s proposal.
“I have only one thing to say to him: if you have the courage, come closer to the stage and propose properly.”
Moments later, Talha pointed directly at a person in the audience and said:
“He’s hiding at the back, come here, son.”
As the man approached the stage, a member of the rapper’s security team grabbed the concertgoer by the hair and forcefully pulled him onto the stage.

Anjum, along with another man on stage, is seen grabbing the fan by the hair and dragging him up. Security personnel then take the person backstage.
The rapper’s reaction has triggered debate online. Many expressed disappointment, saying such behaviour is unacceptable and aggressive. Several users demanded an apology from Anjum, while others defended him, calling it a natural response to provocation, and questioned the event organisers about the lack of proper security.
So far, neither Talha Anjum nor his team has issued a statement. The video, however, has gone viral with millions of views.
